People use imaginary lines (latitude and longitude) to easily find places.

 

Equator: An imaginary line that goes from east to west. The degree of this line is zero degrees.

Latitude line: Lines that run parallel to the equator. It goes from side to side, similar to the rungs of a ladder.

 

 

 

 

Prime Meridian: An imaginary line that runs from the north pole to the south pole

 

Longitude lines: Lines that run parallel to the prime meridian

2.5 - iPhone keeps record of everywhere you go!

Security researchers have discovered that Apple's iPhone keeps track of where you go – and saves every detail of it to a secret file.  The file contains the latitude and longitude of everywhere the phone has been along with a timestamp, meaning that anyone who stole the phone or the computer could discover details about the owner's movements using a simple program.

 

"Apple has made it possible for almost anybody – a jealous husband or wife, a private detective – with access to your phone or computer to get detailed information about where you've been," said Pete Warden, one of the researchers.

 

Simon Davies, director of the pressure group Privacy International, said: "This is a worrying discovery. Location is one of the most sensitive elements in anyone's life – just think where people go in the evening. The existence of that data creates a real threat to privacy. If someone were to steal an iPhone and "jailbreak" it, they could find out the exact locations and times in which its
